Nice idea! It'll be good to know roughly how many we're looking at before getting them made Plus that way people can say whether they'd want it in white or black (or other colours, though probably best cost-wise to just have a couple of options, yeah?) I'll put a thread about it in the Website Feedback section, I think - thanks!

I'll get a couple done when we're getting the stikies for the Moon River cars done. Any suggestions on size if I was to get a couple extra?

Great - thanks! Haven't a clue on size and so on, tbh... I don't know a thing about how getting stickers done works, so I'm thinking the best thing will be to let the people who do know what they're doing (ie, you driver-type people ) sort it out, and hope it comes to an affordable price! I'm thinking the general idea was that we'd just get one big batch done and hand them out among the people who wanted them, anyway - that sound about ok to everyone?

Neil - hold on for now although you could get an idea of price.
We were thinking of finding out how many we were looking at getting and then getting them amde up together so they all look the same. I was thinking that Graham Ross would be able to do them cheaply for us all.
We still need to get the finalised decal, i.e., size, colour, text etc.

Yeah, it'd be easiest to have them all much the same, anyway, and probably cheaper if done in bulk What I'm thinking of for the decal seems a fairly simple option - how about just the url in either white or black (have to have a light and a dark option, anyway, for different colour cars), in the same font that it's in on the logo on the site? It'd just have a transparent background, so I think it'd look pretty much ok on most cars... you guys will know better than me what to do for size, though, so I'll let you decide among you As long as it's visible, I'll be more than happy - never expected to have people wanting to advertise it so soon, especially when it's so lacking in content!

GR - we need to get organized because the season will be on us in no time.
The signs we usually use come as single letters in a strip where you peel off the back, put them on the car and then pull off the front so it just leaves the letters (there is no background that connects them). These are the best signs for us all.
Keep the font and size standard for all, if possible and as you say, a choice of black or white should suit most cars.
As I've said previously, advertising your URL does gain more traffic to the site - it did for my own website anyway.
Speaking of which, we should be back on line in another week or so...watch this space.

It would also be an idea to try for a universal size suitable for side, bonnet, or back window mounting. They could then be used with a plain background for use as sunstrips etc (AT KNOCKHILL ? ? ? ) on our road cars too

Yes, we'll have to watch the size so that they also fit the Legends as well...

Think I've got how the stickers work now, then - so it's basically the whole url in one go, rather than putting each letter on individually, but once it's on the car, it's the letters only, with no background holding them together? Makes sense now For the font, it'll be Hobo, like in the site logo, if that's possible to do easily - would whoever does the sign have the font already, or would I need to supply a graphic, or what? I'll let you guys work out what to do with the size, I think - you'll know best what'll work on your cars Like the idea of being able to use them on road car sunstrips, though - we've actually got one sitting on a shelf waiting to go on KF's car whenever we get round to it, so it'd be cool to put the url on it

60cm? Sounds a bit on the large side to me - I was thinking half that would be plenty! Most people have got their own sponsors, who'd obviously want the largest stickers, and I think a 60cm sticker would kinda dominate most cars (would it even fit on a Legend?) I'm thinking it'd be best to stick with pretty small stickers to begin with, at any rate... it'd look a bit daft having huge stickers on a load of cars if the site doesn't live up to them! Probably better to wait till we've got a decent site together, tbh... even BTCCPages only has very small stickers on any cars it sponsors, and they're a big, established site, while we're neither of those things

Spoke to signman on Saturday first thing he pointed out was that with such a long address font will be fairly small on visor. Any way got rough price if done in batches of 6 visors or 10 small ones at £10 for visor (100cm long) £4 for smaller 60cm (long).

Neil - that's a pretty good price to be honest. we might as well use them if he's already done a good job for yourselves...

Is that £4 per sticker, or £4 for a batch of ten? If it's per sticker, we can't afford that at all... what'd a smaller one cost? 60cm sounds pretty big, anyway, so going smaller's not problem

GR - £4 per sticker is very cheap for proper quality signs which we need.
you won't have to worry about the costs as the drivers will be paying for the decals - if you ever see our race bills, £4 odd is not going to make any difference.
We'll have to do some deal where we'll all have to get either a cheque or cash to NeilS if we are going to use the company he knows about...
We can sort that out next year but we need to know who is going to want decals first...
