Oh, ok then - I just assumed me and KF would pick up the bill, seeing as it's benefitting our site, but if you guys don't mind paying for the stickers, that'd be a huge help - thanks! I still think it'd be an idea to start off with pretty small stickers, though (60cm still sounds on the large side to me, even if it is a pretty long url...), cos we'll end up looking pretty silly if we're "sponsoring" (which is what it'll look like, even if we know the stickers are being carried for free) a whole load of cars, with large stickers, and the site doesn't live up to the hype.... :blackeye: Of course I'm hoping it'll be a success, but maybe starting off small would be a good thing - we can always work up to larger stickers next season, anyway, if it looks like the site's working well, and we've actually managed to keep it up to date (which'd be something of a surprise, knowing me :s;))

Just replying to myself OK, 60cm probably is about right, actually - just resized the logo in Photoshop, and it's not very tall, so it won't look as huge as I'd thought, even if it is pretty long I should've tried to find a shorter url!

If you put a ruler against a road car you'll find that 60cm is not really too big - don't forget, we want people to see it from trackside...

Good point - I don't really know enough about stickers and things, so I think I should just shut up and leave it to the people who do know what they're talking about!

I wouldn't go as far as saying I know what I'm talking about!

If we drop the "www" that will help as long as we have the ".co.uk" anyone who uses a computer will realise its a web site address, more and more companies are doing this.

That's a good point Neil - I never thought about that with my own signs - could have saved a few "w"''s!

Yeah, that'd save a bit of space, though just to be awkward, I think it looks more symmetrical with the www..... Space and cost are going to be pretty crucial, though, so if it's better without the w's, it's fine by me BTW, Neil, I think there's something up with your e-mail address... I replied to the mail you sent me a few days back, but I keep getting "Message delayed" mails back - it's reached 56 hours delayed now! :s Didn't say much, anyway, just that KF's doing a post about the online racing for you - it's up in Off-Topic Chat now, if you haven't seen it already

Lol, the joys of e-mails and networks! Hope you can get that sorted soon, anyway - nothing more annoying than mails not getting through - you'll likely find a whole stack of them backed up when you get it working now! Though hopefully you'll never experience the "mailing list gone mad" problem that happened on a list I was administrator (and sadly not owner - if I had been I could've killed it off sooner!) of a while back - that lovely list sent bounce messages back to the list, which made the bouncing addresses bounce some more, and if I didn't unsub the addresses in time it started a bit of a chain reaction... and one day it went totally mad at about 3am, and generated at least 75,000 mails over the next few hours before the server finally crashed!:eek::shock::crazy::blackeye: Know what you mean about the ads, btw - if you find they pop up in front of the page, rather than behind it, have you got a pop-up stopper on your computer? If so, tell it to let the pop-ups here through... apparently Proboards use anti-pop-up scripts that just make the ads worse if you try and stop them, which is helpful..... I'll be more than happy to accept a donation, anyway - a month's spam-free viewing will make a nice change!

Sounds pretty cool - hope it looks as good as it sounds! If the silver outline's strong enough, that should look gorgeous on KF's (black) road Fiesta, too - think we'll have to buy one of those stickers off you!
