Very nice, like the low stance! Are those grey stripes ? Is the engine still standard, or a bit more power ?

Blair - the stripes are white - it's just the light in the photo.
Engine is currnetly pretty much standard as MSport have a big problem with Frod regarding the ECU mods. We were originally up at 180bhp from 150bhp but we are at standard until it is resolved.
Cheers, Nick.

Hi Norm - haha - nah, it won't be going on the road. The plates will be coming off tomorrow. I do still have V6 NSR on retention and V5 NSR on my road car though... I think that's enough! Nick.

I don't want to start a riot again here but, I thought tinted windows were illegal in circuit racing? On safety grounds?

Looks like a first class job....
I see you had the track to yourself. Did you frighten everyone else away?

Windows are ok, you'd never be able to see out them with bucket seats and harnesses anyway.

Dave are you sure? Have you checked it with the blue book? I thought it was dangerous because of the fire risk, you'd not be able to see if the car was on fire or if the driver was unconscious before you got to the scene of the crash?

I've seen this car in the flesh and I don't remember the windows being tinted. I think it's just the way the photos were taken.

Hi all - the photo on track by itself was John Findlay in the second car. He did manage to get a full session by himself. As we had major problems with my car - the immobiliser did exactly what it says on the tin - it immobilised the blo*dy car for two days (eventually worked out one of the relays was goosed) - I had to go out with the "Speed Sunday" boys. As you can imagine, I kept it well out of the way on track but it was good to get used to the gearing, seating position and of course, the slicks we are running on. Tinted windows - yes, they are tinted from when it was a road car but you can see through them... Richard - if I was a marshall, to check if the driver is OK, I'd probably look through the big clear window at the front... Nick.

Oh yes, on the 'pink' front (ahem!). As Dan Rose's car and mine are both blue with white viper stripes, so you can tell them apart at distance, Dan has run green vinyl up the posts and I have run some 'pink' vinyl on mine. My girlfriend made me go for pink (honest!) but since I've just spent around 17K of the money that was part of our house deposit, I cant' really complain can I!!! Nick.
