I've just read that Paul Luti has apparently secured an MG ZS to compete with in the BTCC next season. If it is true it is great news for him!

Great news if true, good luck to him! Also saw in Autosport last week that Knockhill's provisional BTCC date is August 17th, fingers crossed for decent weather for a change

Ah... wonder if that means we'll see the Clios and F Renaults back??
Catriona, I thought the weather this year at the Touring cars was OK??? (By Knockhill standards!!)
I also noticed that Andrew Jordan is to join his dad next year in the BTCC with an identical Integra

Well, it didn't rain this year, true, but that wind was freezing Would be great ifthe Clios/FRenaults are back, I missed them this year; I'm not such a single seater person but the Clios are always entertaining racing

Here's the calendar:
Mar 29/30 - Brands Hatch Indy April 12/13 - Rockingham May 3/4 - Donington Park May 17/18 Thruxton May 31/June 1 - Croft July 12/13 - Oulton Park July 25/26 - Snetterton Aug 16/17 - Knockhill Aug 30/31 - Silverstone Sept 20/21 - Brands Hatch GP
Gonna be a early end to the year, I quite like it this year even with the 6 week gap to the last round as it makes the winter shorter this year!

I've heard from a source close to dreadnought garage that the above is correct and it's turkington's old car.
Also been told that there's more details on Paul's website.

Yes - Pauls site confirms it.. This is really going to upset Fiona Leggate... It'll be someone else she can't beat

This is really going to upset Fiona Leggate... It'll be someone else she can't beat Harsh! Didn't think you said nasty things ! But you're sort of right, you can see if you watch her driving she's just that bit earlier off the power /on the brakes than the others, including her team mate Jason Hughes.

She's absolutely shocking, the only reason I can imagine team kartworld still let her race with them is they need the cash. If I was a team owner I would be too embarassed to let her make one of my cars look that bad.

Exactly both Winchesters, I don't think even I could bend the laws of Physics and crash on lap 1 of Brands Race 3 at Paddock Hill having just came out of the pits!!! ;D

I'm a strong believer in getting more girls racing but Leggate really doesn't help that cause.
In comparison with the likes of Sarah Playfair who the last time I looked was running a respectable 7th in the FF Championship and Carol Brown in the Legends who has had some really storming drives this year I'm afraid I just consider Leggate a waste of good sponsorship money.

Have to agree, I'm delighted to see talented female drivers doing well, but unfortunately there are some examples who don't really help with the stereotype that women aren't good drivers And before anyone asks if I could do better; no, I couldn't, I have to admit to being a dedicated motorsports fan without even a road car license yet

Fiona has the ££££ so she has the drive, dont think she is anythinf special but compared to some (richard marsh anyone??) she is okay.
this is looking like a good year for the jocks in BTCC with Jonathan Adam, Mickey Doyle, Luti and sheds in the series
out of interest does anyone know if Andrew Morrison is going to use that new Seat and do the SCC next year
