well it is only a few days away, the end of a long winter. The racing is back, the orange army will have nice clean ovies for the 1st and only time of the year and the drivers wont have any dents on their cars. 2011 promises a lot with good grids in all series but there is questions, who will win?? who is coming out to play and who will spend more time in the gravel traps than the marshals???
see you all sunday and stay safe

But I will be speaking to you :-p Ohhh, sounds ominous. Just take off your steel toecaps before you speak to me.. I'm now right in the racing mood after a couple of days spent working on the machine, so good luck to everyone competing, marshalling, officiating, spectating etc!

Was thinking that too Malcolm. Maybe there will be a batch of late entries to get it up a bit. In saying that, there are a good few from last year who have moved on or aren't racing this year , so maybe this is going to be the norm from now on?

perhaps the XR2's are finally dying, there was murmurs at training day about a low cost replacement series, but it wont have a blue oval on the front but they are part of the FMC empire, small and RWD. we also have about 100 of the blighters visiting later this year. do ya know what it is yet??? :-p

Hmm, small Fiesta entry indeed, but yeah there's always a few more crawl out of the woodwork on the day. I won't be, nor will I be there for this or the May meeting as away for a while (please don't ask). Or, for that matter, there in the pink panther for any race, but will be around in July.
DC back out I see, and Sandy must have been hard at work over the past few months too to get the car repaired.
Any news on the other classes?
I know! They don't have a blue oval though, aren't they a partner rather than part of FMC (I will happily stand corrected), suffice to say I'd buy one of their cars before the Ford counterpart. I shan't get into rumour and conjecture at this point, but I'd happily swap the XR for one, fabulous cars and fabulous racing down south!
