Nice work, Blair! I've never seen so many nervous glances in the mirror but well held, sir.
Also, having now seen those concrete humps from a number of onboards I've changed my mind about them - those things are over the top and will probably end up hurting someone. Drivers need to stick to the track limits, yeah - but there's already been a massive accident caused by someone being bumped into them and I dread to think what'll happen when a biker slides into them. Having hit a few things in my legends days it would probably break your wrist to smack those at speed.

Good stuff Blair. Technically though, you got a class win, not a race win.

Nice work, Blair! I've never seen so many nervous glances in the mirror but well held, sir. Thanks Mike, and yeh, certainly a new experience leading a race. It was easier to see where I was losing speed - something to work on for the next meeting. And shoosh Mr Strong... I'll class it as a race win!

Did Tim appeal his penalty? I had a disqualification for a chicane incident overturned on appeal so it can be done.

Meant to also say, it was great to see such a big crowd. The biggest I have seen at an SMRC meeting, ever! Maybe it was like that back in the old days?

Awesome, thanks for the heads-up, next week happens to be the one time all year I'll have access to Motors TV - hadn't expected our racing to be on by that time

If you click on the Motors TV tab on this link it gives you transmission dates for all the series.. motorsport-events.knockhill.com/scottish-car-racing.php#tab5Although I note it's wrong for this weekends Legends / Minis. It's good to see the TV going out before the next round, is this because the programmes are apparently one of the most watched on Motors TV ? Hopepfully there'll be a mention to come to the next round. Also noticed there's a camera on top of the marshals hut on the inside of Duffus. Thats a new place for it! (Guessing new banking was too far back on outside of circuit).

Watched them all last week, and I'm now really wishing I could afford Sky to watch the rest of the year! Camerawork could perhaps use some practice (how many times was I wanting to see the cars that seemed to be passing each other round the corner and out of shot while the camera blissfully kept looking down the track) but nice to see how much coverage the series get nowadays, Legends and Minis seem to get full races now (have to admit I never watched it last year so this may not be new ) Anyway, racing's looking good this year, those Mini races were outstanding, only contact seemed to me more a racing incident than anything else, and the amount of passing at the front with not even a touch was brilliant - hope that carries on! Fiestas look short on numbers but still as entertaining as ever, Legends ditto (not that short on numbers, more less familiar names than I'm used to, but still great racing!), Classics clearly don't have any numbers shortage, and still have really good racing! FFord and Saloons/Sportscars both suffered from lack of numbers, hopefully that'll improve over the season - I've not checked yesterday's results yet, so it may already be on the up anyway Looking forward to Cadwell now; if all goes well I should get to see some of our series over there next month, and if racing continues as well as it's started, it'll be a great show!
