Bit early but I'm needing to sort some work issues around this weekend. Anyone any info on the format? For the XR2s will it be 1 race on Sat and 1 on Sun? If so, does anyone know if qualifying/scrutineering/signing on will be usual early start Sat morning? I know info will arrive the week before, but I'm looking to get accom booked and possibly some time off on Fri if there is a test day running. Cheers for any info. Off to bash out my matching dents (1 each side) from my XR2 (No26)!

Wondering this myself. Can only find this info on Knockhills site, probably not much use to you though. www.knockhill.com/events/get-event.php?e=216 Also the testing page on KH's site says "Sat TBC" ?? Also while we're at it whats the format for the second meeting in September which will be a Saturday? Just the same as a Sunday meeting?

Id of thought the testing would of been on a Friday just like the BTCC support test in august and then a usual programe on the saturday just like any other race meeting as like what you said Blair. Then again you cant trust the testing page as it seems to think the 27th of July is a Saturday when it quite cleary isnt

Update - Knockhill running GT testing on Fri 4 Sep. SMRC Test session 0800-1200 Sat 5 Sep. £30 per 20 min in advance (£35 on the day). Sessions split with 3 for any car, 1 for Legends and 1 for FF. Understand SMRC hoping to get scrutineering and qualifying done sat afternoon with all SMRC races on sunday. GT racers will be doing a 'sprint' and 'endurance' race at some stage over weekend. Guess paddocks will be busy from Thurs onwards as GT guys set-up for Fri test session. Looking forward to it.

Looks like a busy weekend. I'll just be watching this meeting was hoping the 1st XR2 race might be a bit later than 9.10! GT Grid looks good with 24 cars. Don't suppose I could be cheeky and cadge a ticket for Sunday off anyone ?

Doesn't sound right Dave - you wouldn't get many people testing tomorrow at that price for 40 minutes. Maybe it's just to put off GT Cup cars from testing tomorrow?
