well i just found out who it was and its a bit of an anti climax! I know an ex btcc supports racer and current works driver in FIA GT3 who would definately be up for it (and quick!) if the dates dont clash if they are interested? I think everybody is missing the point somewhat. As I said previously "The Skid" will be wheeled out when there is no "celeb" to drive - or if Maxi Jazz pulls out at the last moment again! I'd say an ex-BTCC, or current FIA GT, driver is more likely to be classed as a celebrity driver. Having a local driver race under a moniker makes it a bit more interesting to the public. Not sure how the driver name / license thing works but would "The Skid" need to remain the same person?

What I meant is that instead of having to use the "skid markz" anonymous driver they could have had him instead. Not him driving under the skid markz name.

Nick, I was behind Stewart, Ian Donaldson when it happened. A large amount of weaving going on going into the braking zone at the hairpin. Stewart was trying to get past and got some space on the inside. Ian D came back across to close the door and there was contact. Next thing Ian D speared off left and hit the barrier in a cloud of dust, tyres and vaulting ST. Stewart was so p***ed off he went straight into the pits, jumped out and into the Clerk of the course......

Oh - not good.
Did he do much damage to his ST then?
How is your Ewen - I saw he didn't get back out - did he do some damage??? (hope not)...
I'll see Stewart at Brands next week so I'm sure he'll fill in all the details!

Nick Minimal damage to Stewart's ST, but both Ewen and Ian D's were subject to significant damage .... both pretty bad unfortunately Still - nowhere near as bad as the incident with Stewart and Nick C ....

The black ST was a mess - not an undamaged panel on it...

Nick, Euan's car was a bit of a mess. Lost it through Duffus, ending up on his roof at the bottom. Not put him off though
