Hi all. How did everyone get on?
I qualified 13th. Got up to 6th by 3rd lap but ended up in gravel and dropped down to 21st. Recovered to 12th.
2nd race was in rain and managed 4th.
Overall pleased with 2nd race but annoyed at myself for 1st race mistake.
Good grid turn out but certain people seemed to more interested in smashing other people off the track.......
How about anyone else?
Rich

Shame about the crash Mike, was behind you when you got hit out. Nearly ended in a big pile up. Could have been a really nasty one. Hope all goes well getting it sorted for May!

was an alright day for my first race.
Didnt push as hard as I wanted to in qual at all as well did a mid 66 on saturday yet never touched them today.
First race was good, kept up wi Blair but never was close enough for a look in.
2nd race was well just manic. Massiah traffic jam at leslie's led to the red flag being put out.
restart was almsot as crazy with the chicane being turned into a tyre bouncing mud covered funzone. But got through and car was in one piece depite my best attempts coming out of mcintyre's
Shame for Mike for his crash, no chance to avoid and nasty damage to the shell. Hope you'll get out for the next meet

Yeh just looked at your video Mike - f***king hell was just what I was gonna say. As for my day. Terrible qualifying, not my strong point anyway but with 32 cars out there even worse. 16th in first race... so so with that. Had some interesting avoiding action on first start at Duffus - Power Images have caught the evidence here: power-images.co.uk/gallerys/2009/knockhill/car%20racing/26-04-09/slides/26-04-09%20(126).html Feel as if I'm driving as quick as the back end of last year yet my times are about 1 - 1.5 seconds down. Not sure if it's the cobwebs yet or another problem maybe. 10th in race two was much better and I held it on track thank god! My wet times were much more similar to last years wet times too though. Good luck to those of you going to Croft, hopefully see you all again at the end of May..

Still very rusty, was really feeling my neck towards the end of the day... still, had fun and got three race finishes in which is all I wanted from today. Got my first black and white flag for taking out Dagman's floppy at the chicane, but I couldn't really help it given that I'd arrived at the chicane utterly out of control! Hope to progress a little next time out.

Awesome get to see my gravel exit shall we say!!!! didnt realise i was airborne. Could have been much worse. Went for 6th but back end snapped and somehow managed to keep it out the wall. Broke my exhaust but that was about it so not bad. Car ran well in race 2 getting 4th so didnt feel down on power.

blo*dy hell lads! I've just been looking at the photos on the net - some seriously damaged cars kicking about - madness! Mike (Strong) - that was a fair hit you took in the drivers door... Andrew - that is one scary video in the main straight! I hope we don't end up like that - we have 38 cars entered for Snetterton next weekend... N. www.nicksandersonracing.com

Got my first black and white flag for taking out Dagman's floppy at the chicane, . you were lucky that is all you got, assume you didnt wake up today with a horse's head in your bed ;D ;D one thing I do like about you legend lads is that on the slowing down lap when we are clapping you every one of you lads sticks out a hand and gives us a wave and thumbs up, that is a nice bit of respect I can appreciate the tintops cant as much but the caterhams could but I never saw 1 wave all day anyway i am going on you tube to see if anyone has uploaded footage of a airborne lambo

Id rather see the airborne Evo! I was standing down at Scotsmans and heard the bang as it hit the airfencing and it sounded a real bad one - it even looked like he hit it - bounced off and rolled but dont think he did. Was incredible he then drove away with just a couple of broken windows.
