Not mine, I'm afraid; I promise I'll try to get last season's ones scanned before this season starts! Anyway, found this link on another forum, and thought I'd post it here... mainly trackdays, but there's a few from the club meetings  p15121981.pureserver.info/~admin5/index.php?cat=2

Don't care how cold it is...... We want them at all the race meetings this season!! Would draw in the crowds, I'm sure... Us marshals would demand a longer lunchbreak too... to look at the cars in the paddock of course.... !!!

Sorry, GR...
They'll have to get something else for the females to ogle at! Fair's fair....!
Only 3 weeks to go till we're back at Knockhill (marshals' training day).. seems like ages since the last race meeting.

There's always Charlie to ogle at...on second thoughts!!! Dagman - you should put up a post about the marshall training day as to what it involves etc - you may get some people on here that are not aware of how to start out in marshalling...just an idea. Cheers, Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

Get em out Cat! ;D Your opinions that is! Nick the marshalls day mainly consists of sitting in the hut as you come in the gate for about a hour, before a few speaches. Then you go down to the chosen area where some cars are sitting! They go on fire, you point and go 'oh no that car is on fire' and you go and put it out! Then you go home! Dave.

No explaining needed mate! There are two holes, one on each side of the track! We put one on each side! The race starts, both are gone by the second lap! When the race is over you pick up the bits and put new ones in! Dave.

Nothing would be more guaranteed to put me off going to the races... I have to agree with you there. Much rather see a saucy partially clothed sportscar myself... Hope knockhill doesn't start pulling stunts like that at club meetings (I doubt their pockets are deep enough). Knockhill is still a half way decent place to take the family for a day out and I for one wouldn't want to see that spoiled.

Quite agree with you, Dave. My original comment was with tongue (slightly) in cheek!
With regard to the marshals' training day, we are very short of marshals and would be delighted to see anyone interested in joining the team at the training day. It is usually just the trainees now who get the fire fun so watch where you park your car! (and check your insurance..!) Used to be all the marshals that did it but I think it was getting too expensive having to refill the extinguishers! Training day has an 8.30am sign-on for a 9.00am start and an intended 2.00pm finish. Rolls and coffee will be provided, so I'm told! As for race days, with the prospect of free admission, programme, lunch and pie, what more incentive do you need??!!
Nick, I am sure that Knockhill have stocked up with floppies over the winter so don't worry... The fact you mentioned it means we will be keeping a careful eye on you at the first race meeting!! ;-))
Regards to all David

These Photos explain a lot. I was told Knockhill make a lot more money from Hot Hatch days than they do from Race meetings. I always wondered why they made so much from converted road cars running round the track and why would that attract spectators... I now also understand where the Hot Tub that was put to great use by Aly Hunter, various Legends drivers and their partners and the Burnbrae's boys last summer came from.. Don't get too worried it was well after the 9.00pm watershed!! Ali

Dagman16 - you can guarantee that I'll be trying my best to miss the floppies - I've just spent a fortune sorting out all my bodywork and topped it off with a nice new paintjob! Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

OK, Nick... we believe you. It's the other 25 odd that we'll have to watch now!! Oh, and the FF guys who were a bit naughty at times last year! (suntanned Knockhill look... I hope!) David
