Love it. Definitely the funniest review of 2003 I've read to date!

Joking aside, glad you guys like it. I could have written a standard review of 2003 but it's all already covered in the race reports so we thought something a bit more festive would be good. Good opportunity to get some of GR's pics out again, too.

on behalf of Turnkey Computers Car 23 , I must humbly accept the "Brake Pedal, what's that?" award, it has come as a major surprise to be included in such prestigeous awards , and especially as my car is completely remote controlled by ally hunters crew up at mission control in the paddock, They have been trying to scare me more and more all year with these ludicrous braking tricks that I personally have very little to do with.
I am not a religious man but i must say that most of them were done with eyes shut and both hands off the wheel deep in prayer !!!! , lol
For this year we will have the wheel stilts as previewd by dick dastardly in the " Whacky Racers" and intend to drive over the top of the other cars, an early version of which was tested with ally thom last year though with disasterous results.
All the best to everyone for 2004 , lets hope we have some serious success to report to this Web site community and hope we dont get all banished to rallying for under perfromance,,
cheers

The Pig Speaks
Gerard McCosh welcomes his passengers new found fame and would like to take this opertunity to answer some questions :
" The pig is simply known as Piggy, Position on the car is cristical as u might imagine and was decided after in-depth discussion with the pig !! Piggy is reluctant to give away any trade secrets ! "
Please note that the status of the pig may well be under discussion with the SMRC this season as for the unfair advantage that it gains gentleman driver McCosh, however an appeal fund will be setup to fight the Club to the bitter end on this one and the pork scratchins will be on Gerard
cheers

You'll be glad to know that now moving house is just about over (well, the new place is in chaos, but everything's out of the old one), we're going to get down to updating the site a bit more often now. I've just spent an hour or so looking through my old photos, finding out exactly what I've got still to scan, and so on, so now all I have to do is actually scan them Don't be surprised if you get a few "mystery meeting" batches where I have to ask which meeting it is, btw, as I've got three sets of films from 2002 which aren't processed yet - whilst I know which three meetings they were from, I don't know which set belongs to which meeting, and I've no idea how easy it will be to identify them...

Hey what’s wrong with the colour of my car? Obviously you’re not into tropical fish. I suppose my car should be viewed under Growlux lighting.. It’s a sort of UV light …Makes pale reds & pink look intensely red and blues become deeper and more irradescent. If my car were in an extremely big Tropical fish tank it would look like a very large Cardinal Tetra. A highly attractive and most sought after fish, of course they look better when you see a dozen of them together chasing after each other especially if the tank has black gravel and dark background. If you switch of the growlux tube these beautiful fish look like my car on a dull Knockhill Legends Race Day. Pity all the other competitors/fish look like plecostomus or corydorus! Still glad to win an award for something Hey Lance how come you got preferential treatment from Aly Hunter. he told me everyone got an internet controlled remote and in Orkney we don't have broadband so thats why I appeared so slow. Watch out this year Orkney's promiced Satallite Broadband!! Ali

Hey Ally
satelite broadband is a pain in butt, it will speed up the downloading of your car but uploading will be disasterous and u will miss all the corners ( well even worse than usual ;D )
im just ripping mine out for a dual isdn line
cya on the grid for 2004 ( well cannie miss the colour of your car could i_)

Well the comentators award just got easier.... According to Scotlegends website Jamie & Jim Clarke are not racing in SMRC Championship this year but are to do Corgi National Championship instead.
Guess that means no defending champion so the Front runners must be looking forward to the racing this year...
I am assuming that with John Jon Higgins and Steve Hobday giving up Legends Jamie fancies his chances of picking up some podium places if not the Championship. Don't know whether they know most of the circuits which may be problems but knowing them they will get some "Knowledge" prior to racing.
Best of luck to him although it would appear Aly Hunter won't be preparing their cars so their reliability and setup will very much depend on the ability of their Team Mechanics etc. With most of the rounds being Televised we should be able to keep an eye on how they are doing. Ali
