Right then, for any football heads out there like myself (which is always debatable since I support Tottenham!), what do you think the scores will be at the weekend. I'm hoping that we both qualify so here are my predictions: - Scotland 2 Lithuania 0 Germany 3 Iceland 0 (Scotland get play-off place) Turkey 1 England 1 Heskey finally manages to hit the target... I think you should be getting your CV off to Tottenham quick sharp..... I reckon Scotland will get held by Lithuania thus ensuring our demise, and the spawny English will get a 98th minute equaliser by a token Man U player. Football can be so harsh.

Lol, Speedy, I have to agree... the only thing certain for the weekend is that Scotland will do whatever is necessary to not qualify!

Oh obviously. Didn't we lose to Lithuania last time?

Forgot to mention Speedy, Spurs are doing quite a good job at present - why buy another manager when Pleaty seems to be sorting it out? Saying that, my mum could have done a better job than Hoddle - allegedly! (I thought I'd better add the "allegedly" in case he comes on this forum!) Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

Oh well - I got the Gernamy score correct - wish I'd gone to the bookies! I'm sure the Scottish version of Uri Gellar moved the ball just before Beckham went to take the penalty! Just waiting for the playoff draw - how much do you want to bet that either Scotland or Wales will draw Turkey... Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

It's done... Scotland v Holland - not an easy tie but saying that, there are no easy teams in the playoffs. Wales should fancy their chances against Russia... Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

Holland should be interesting... we haven't a hope in hell of getting through that draw, but it'll be fun to see how we do, anyway - they've got some pretty impressive players, I seem to recall

Scotland v Holland is only going to go one way. Just look at Holland - van Nistelrooy, van Bronckhorst, van Hooidjonk, christ they could put the remains of van Gogh in goal and still win about 17-1.
Wales I fear will be out too - Russia are dangerous with a capital 'Very'.
Croatia v Slovenia looks like the best (even, that is) tie.
