Fancy having an F1 car parked up your drive ? Well now is your chance to bid to buy one. Guide price for last years car, without engine only £10k. Not bad considering it cost over £1m to build. The entire stock of the defunct Arrows F1 team is up for auction today and tomorrow at www.dovebid.com. Me ? I 'll have one of the demonstration 3 seaters, complete with engine thank you very much.

I would imagine that the cars would end up being VERY expensive being that : a) there are only 5 of them ( plus 3, 3 seaters ) up for sale and b) according to the literature they are "2002 Race Cars", which would lead you to assume that they are race ready, i.e. have engines etc fitted. But it does also say there is a "Selection of Arrows V10 F1 engines, transmissions and spares" too so you never know. It would be interesting to find out just how much the cars go for though. Is there enough room in the engine compartment of an XR2 for a V10 F1 engine...lmao

Didn't Paul Stoddart buy them?
Also heard a rumour Minardi are planning on testing them, as they were built for the Ford engine whereas the Minardi had more flexibility so the Arrows should be more competitive. the end result could be Minardi racing with Arrows 02 chassis...
