As you may know, myself and GR are in the Highlands at the moment and won't return until Monday evening. We're going to be watching the BTCC live on Monday afternoon - got access to Motors TV here, unlike at home, but not British Eurosport, so it's to our great horror that we've discovered the CART is on live.
Hence, could some lovely person video the CART race for us to be picked up at an arranged time during the F3/GT meeting? We'd be eternally grateful

Sorry. I would have taped it but I don't have any fancy channels like Eurosport! Under no circumstances could Eurosport be considered fancy It's the amateur of the Sporting World... Motors TV looks professional in comparison!

Under no circumstances could Eurosport be considered fancy It's the amateur of the Sporting World... Motors TV looks professional in comparison! Erh yeah. I've seen bits of Eurosport over the years...it is truely dreadful...but the only UK source for a lot of motorsport. sigh. Best TV channel I've met for motorsport was Speedvision. I saw a bit of their coverage of Le Mans a couple of years ago (My Brother was working in the US at the time) and it was excellent...very sparse ads which were pretty good when they came (buzz saws and performance products (Holley et al) are a potent mix - sorry I'm a nutball ). If they piped it over here direct I'd probably never leave the house....probably a good thing on reflection

Yes, and even then it seems to be scheduled to fit in with other "Important" sports, i.e. ice skating, 2 week old football games, tiddlywinks...etc.
