Nick, I like your new signature under your name..was that the first time you had ever led a XR2 race?

I've been watching Fiestas since Nick was a hopeless backmarker (kidding! ) and I'm willing to bet money that it was the first time he's led... don't think I've seen him at the front previously!

Nick, I have been on your site several times and I realise that your unlucky start to the season is just that...bad luck . And, as I have said several times before on here, I'm sure you will be in the points soon enough. And I agree with TL, I like your new signature too. Jaffa6

Well if it hadn't been for Brechin being promoted to the First Division, today would have totally stunk (saw Partick lose at Pittodrie, Montrose got beaten at Links Park by Gretna and Arbroath went down with a whimper).
Now I'm waiting to see if West Ham can pull off a miracle tomorrow and prevent me kissing goodbye to a tenner. :blackeye:

Bloody Brechin - drift up from D3 last season then nick Forfar's promotion spot and head up to D2...! (Ignoring Airdrie of course!) - Ah well, 3rd last year, 4th this year, I demand better next season seeing as Alloa are the only decent club making the descent down this time - if Forfar can hold on to the squad they have just now then I'm hoping that the 03/04 season could be our year!
And congrats to GR's County for avoiding the drop by the skin of their teeth by gubbing Ayr - not sure where the sudden form came from but I'm sure their not complaining!

Very much not complaining here! I had the most nervewracking afternoon imginable, waiting to hear the results... obviously I was at Knockhill, so wasn't able to watch the scores come through on the tv like I normally do, so I was just relying on a friend who supports St Mirren to text me the scoreline from the Alloa game, which wasn't even slightly encouraging! :blackeye: I was very happy when he texted me the final scoreline, though - no idea where it came from, but very timely indeed!

And Gr moans at me for going off topic Yep, that is the first time that I've led. It was great being in the lead but I didn't exactly get much chance to sit back and enjoy it with Ian Forrest glued to my bumper. I'm pleased that I kept him behind me for 4 laps and it was my own mistake that let him through. The best thing is that I learnt a lot from Ian while I was defending...as Ian said himself "the old master is back" -emphasis on the "old" bit.. ;D Seriously though, hopefully with my all new car setup at the next meeting, I may be able to stay somewhere near the front...and stay there! Tl - I'd rather West Ham go down today but it should be close...I know a few people who support West Ham so it should be good for a laugh...

Nick attach a jet engine to the back of the XR2 - then just do a burn out (of the car behind ;D )
