Think I forgot to include this one in the boredom relief post, but here goes anyway ( )- who likes what in the music world around here? Most of the stuff at the moment is trash (feel free to retort ), personally anything from the not too distant past is fine by me .

Most stuff, really... there's a huge list of what was on my mp3 playlist a few months back up on my website, though I've added to it considerably since then! Rock, pop, indie, dance, rock'n'roll seem to be the main ones - basically just about anything that isn't classical, opera, or nu-metal

I agree with Speedy that the vast majority of music at the moment is utter unmitigated garbage - it all sounds the same and seems to be aimed at those with a single figure age....

Thissssss, from someone with a Bevis & Butthead avtar    I agree about the music though, there's been no realy good albums released since the eighties with a very few exceptions.

I got quite a shock because i went through my collection of bout 70 CD's, and only 2 of them (New Order's Republic and an Iron Maiden greatest hits album  ) were from the whole of the 90's  . Besides, should anything interesting prop up from that period nowadays I'd probably just download it I'd agree about some excellent 80's albums - in fact most of it is early to mid 80's rock/indie/electro that dominates the collection (though there's a few awful death metal albums in there too :blackeye::eek::banghead: )

I'm bored, so just thought I'd revive this How about if we sometimes post what song we're listening to at the time we're on the forum - might be a good way to see what we all like in the way of music Right now I've got Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top on - the Legends music! Trouble is it's reminding me there's about five months to go till I'll see the Legends again.... :blackeye:

Something of a rock and or roll man myself - long term Iron Maiden fan... as I recall I was introduced to them when I was 12. (we need a headbang smiley )

:banghead: Not such a huge rock fan myself... don't mind a bit, but I get bored pretty fast, especially when it all sounds the same

GR - £10 if you can work out the difference in chords between 'legs' , 'sharp dressed man' and 'gimme all your loving' KF - didn't actually like Iron Maiden until I ended up in a tribute band - gradually taking them to heart now At the moment? House Of Fun by Madness, then Now 11 :S
