Hi all, Is it just me, or has no one received their smrc yearbook and race forms. It's getting a bit close to the first race meeting! Claire

Yeah Claire, it would be nice to know when we are supposed to be racing so that we can book our holidays and make arrangements.
I spoke to John Findlay the other night who is the new XR2 rep, and he said he will speak to Chris Edwards to find out what's going on.
As you say, April 13th (I think we can guess that is the first date!) is not far away and we all have to get our forms sent in before then!
Have you done any testing for 2003 yet or have you any planned? I think a lot of theXR2 guys will be out on Sunday 30th March - full day test for £80.
Cheers, Nick.

Nick, Car still in bits, but building another Metro for my little brother to race this year as well. My work are having a tracknight on the 11th April, so will be using it as testing! Needing to get the car painted, as my little accident alowed the gravel to scuff all my paintwork!

There may be a lot of things happening behind the scenes that we don't know about so we'll have to wait and see.
I'm just hoping that they don't put our race entry fees up this year to subsidize the money that they have injected into the new Mini series...

Where do you work that they have their own tracknights?
Dave.
