I've posted more details on my site forum (www.ns-r.co.uk for those that don't know already!) but here goes: -
There weren't that many cars out today. 3 FF Zetecs, a couple of Bikes (!) and a total of 4 saloons - two XR2's and 2 Mini's.
Peter Cruickshank and Andy Allan were both putting in 71's in the wet. The mini's were lapping in about 76 (roughly speaking).
One mini already needs a new gearbox after only doing 800 miles and there are apparently loads of electrical problems...
Ian forrest has a new 'trick' xr2 which is currently in Leeds getting the full treatment - this is the same place that turned out Alan Keith's car and Andy Allans so it will be a seriously nice car. It sounds like Ian will be going for the championship again...
Other than that, usual crap weather (although our bar-b-que at the hairpin was still a success!).

Lol, the weather today was just typical for Knockhill... was out earlier getting food, having forgotten all about the test happening today (not surprising - got all of one hour's sleep last night after watching the F1 ), and was just thinking to myself that the weather felt exactly like it usually does when we're at Knockhill... then I remembered the test! Unbelieveable how the weather always knows when there's something on at Knockhill and adjusts accordingly! Not many cars there... hope there's a few more out whenever me and KF can make it to a test

I'm also told that Sandy Forrest's car is getting the same treatment as Iain's.
Also, Duncan Vincent tells me that there might be as many as 18 Zetecs out this year (including him)
My probable new car is still in deepest England and as it looks like I won't be able to test before April 12, I might have to start the season in my old car (well if its good enough for ferrari its good enough for me)

Just hope your barge boards stay intact...or that you don't crash..

 And also watch out that your new car doesn't have any mechanical failures in testing that send you off into the tyre wall at high speed...
