Just got this week's Autosport, and it's got the national racing calendar included... dunno if it'll be the final version, but it's got about everything we already knew, plus a couple of things I didn't know about...
April 13th - SMRC (no historics)
April 27th - SMRC, Northern Saloons/Sportscars
May 10th-11th - F3/GTs, National Legends, Scottish FFord Zetec
May 31st-June 1st - Scottish Legends, Alfa Romeos, LeMans AutoItalia, Fiat Challenge, 2CVs, V-Sport Racing, Super Silhouettes, Northern FFord
June 21st-22nd - SMRC
August 2nd-3rd (Anglesey) - Scottish Legends only
August 10 - SMRC, Northern Saloons/Sportscars
September 7th (Croft) - Scottish Legends only
September 14th - SMRC
October 12th - SMRC (no historics)
So, fairly good news there, with more visiting series than I was expecting... I like the look of all the series coming up on May 31st, in particular, and great to see the National Legends are visiting with the F3/GTs, too - shame the Scottish Legends aren't out on the same day, cos I'd love another Legends Festival, but I guess this way we'll see most (all?) our local drivers out with the National guys instead, so that'll make for a great field size
Pity there's still that pointless gap in July... and it makes even less sense when you look at the Legends guys who'll have two trips south just one week before a race at Knockhill... badly organised, whoever came up with that one
Still, nice to see there'll still be a fair bit of racing going on, even if the vast majority of it's in April and May!
