You'll probably have noticed that there are currently adverts on the forum, including rather annoying "pop-under" ones that appear under the current window... this is one of the downsides to this forum system, but they can be removed, thankfully 
If we decide to go with this board, then I'll buy an ad-free credit from Proboards, which'll give us 50,000 ad-free page views in a month.
These cost $6.99 a time, and only last one month, so you can appreciate this'll add up a fair bit after a while, especially if we find the board gets popular enough that we run out before the end of each month! However, it's possible for anyone, not just the board owner/administrators to buy credits, so if anyone wants to help out, just click on the "Make a Donation" button that appears at the bottom of every page - the way I've got the text colour and background means you can't actually read the rest of what it says, but it's the link to follow, from all I've read
Obviously this may as well wait till it's been decided which forum to use for the website, but just thought I'd let you all know the adverts won't be a permanent fixture on the board, although they may well appear again any time I run out of cash, unless anyone else volunteers a donation
The credits can be used for any month, from what I've worked out of the system, so if there's a few credits around, they can just be saved up for a bit, and used at the beginning of the following month. Credits run from the 1st of the the month till the last day of each month, so if we run out with just a few days left, I'll likely decide it's better to put up with the adverts rather than using up a full credit for just a few days, but in the main, this system should get rid of the ads, fingers crossed!
