As per usual, NS-R (www.ns-r.co.uk) has the latest info so here are the provisional dates for 2003. All dates Knockhill unless stated otherwise: -
April 13th Aprli 27th June 1st July 13th August 10th September 6th/7th - CROFT September 14th October 12th
There's also two meetings which I don't think the SMRC series will race at: -
May 10th/11th GT's August 24th BRSCC
There's also the possibility of a second Croft date although not yet released.

Looking good - I've just told KF he's booking time off work around September 6th-7th so we can have a holiday in Yorkshire! Good to see another track on the calendar again, though I'm hoping the second date doesn't happen, tbh, cos it'd be a touch expensive to go to both Would the BRSCC meeting be the Legends Festival again? Hope so - that was a fantastic meeting last season

August the 24th should be the legends "feast" as i have heard it was planned for the end of August anyway.(filling in the dates for the TOCA tour me thinks GR) there's a good chance it will be better than the BTCC as well, if they fill up the rest of the day with other exciting racing . any idea's ?? ;D will find out later and post info

Great - I'm really glad the Legends festival's coming back, cos last year's one was the best weekend's racing I've ever seen  For other series, the one I can think of which most fits the bill (exciting, lots of cars, lots of action) has to be the XR2s - they were the only thing missing from the last one that I thought really ought to have been there

Saw that the season ticket price is £16 higher than this years was on a forum - what a rip off!

Yeh - don't add up. But we'd probably still be better off than paying for each event individually - and using those bloody buses for the GT's.
But it's only value for money if you go to every one! PS last year I bought online - that way you save £10.

I think a joint one saved another tenner... so it'll "only" be £162 between me and KF..... considering it'll save us about £50 between us over the season, and we tend to have trouble finding lump sums at any time, let alone just after the car insurance is due, I'm getting the feeling we'll be paying on the gate next season - unless, of course, Knockhill are going to find us a few more series and meetings to watch for our money

Better dig out the Playstation and TOCA2 and start practising..... Just to say, given that all the drivers will be travelling down I'm sure that one of us could offer the two of you a lift from Edinburgh or thereabouts. Not sure if there is camping at Croft, but if there is then that would keep the cost pretty low. I've got a wedding the day before the first race of the season - do I try to stay relatively sober and come to the first race? Mmmm, a tricky one. Well done on the new site. Norm

Would be nice to have that option though I imagine I'll probably be driving it cos I have to expand my horizons to something other than Scotland's roads at some point Besides which camping in Yorkshire in September doesn't sound like my idea of fun B+Bs most likely!

Besides which camping in Yorkshire in September doesn't sound like my idea of fun B+Bs most likely! Too right - I've had one experience of camping (Brands Hatch BTCC in 2001), and I'd definitely prefer it to be my last such experience - I'm not cut out for the outdoor life!

We camped out at Donington for the final rounds last year and had a great weekend. You just need to ensure that you stock up on enough lager so that you don't get cold.
We did once camp at Croft but the weather was terrible. We will most likely be staying at a hotel called the Sundial which is a few miles away from the circuit.
I seem to remember that the price is reasonable and as it's a one off weekend, you might as well do it in style anyway...
