Thats not technically true, his fastest lap of the race would have put him second on the grid. Sorry. ;D

Saw John's car in the paddock today - big ouch! Hope you can get that fixed soon... to my non-expert eye it's not looking good

Yeah Catriona, it was a big hit which I guess you will be able to see in all its glory on April 11 on Motors TV at the usual 9pm slot.....
But the good news is that its off down to Kempster Ford to get fixed today. Without seeing it Kempsters have guaranteed it will be fixed in time for me to be on the grid at Silverstone.
Here's hoping !!

Not so bad then John. It did look a rather sorry state sitting there at the weekend!

Interestingly there was a naked shell alongside your car John so it was possible to how badly things were bent.. I thought of taking a couple of comparative photos but decided it would depress you ....
What I would say though is that whoever designed those chassis legs didn't take racing into account...

yup - mine were quite bent too...bare shell will probably the ICR one for his next car - he's doing a complete re-shell on a goosed road car... We'll both be on the grid at Silverstone though... N.
