Dario Franchitti - 2007 IRL Champion.
I've stayed well up past my Sunday bed time and watched the race, what a final 2 laps and for Dixon to run out of fuel just so near the finish !

Sorry for the thread title alteration, Blair, but others may not be aware of the result yet for whatever reason or may have taped the race etc. I'm sure you understand from your 10/10 moderations.  Anyway: Grats to Mr Franchitti - much deserved to see him take the Championship and the 500 this year. As more of a tin-top fan than a single seater man, I'm looking forward to seeing how a Scot goes in NASCAR when he teams up with JPM next year. |

YEEEHAAAAH!!!!  Watched it the indycar website and on a brazillian channel, not got sky! Dario will win at the road courses and knows how to win on the ovals so may do well in NASCAR. He should bring the car back for a thrash around Knockhill!!! |

Yep fair do's Mike, was late - wasn't thinking. Think Dario's bringing his Indy 500 car (or what's left of it) back to his castle (I think) he lives in! |
