BTCC Croft

Had a great weekend at Croft last weekend - not too much rain eitrher so that was a bargain since we were camping.

No Vauxhall winners either! Reidy won the first race and a SEAT 1-2 in the 2nd and 3rd races!

We'd only been there about 1/2 hour on Saturday before we saw a Clio roll at Clervaux. Fortunately they maanged to fix the car and it won on the Sunday!

Some brilliant racing. Gordon got a 5th and a 6th in the Cupras which isn't too bad as Smith was qwell down in race 1 and punted out of race 2 - he really needs to do a double at Knockhill in a few weeks time to give himself a crack at the title.

Formula BMW, Renault, Porsches, Clios etc were all excellent - great closed racing.

Can't wait for us to go to Croft in September - well, it is my "local" circuit being from Yorkshire!!!

I thought it was a darn good days racing, was pretty chuffed with 1 MG and 2 SEAT wins myself


I think that Gordon Shedden will find it hard to do, when according to what I've heard not all cars are equally prepared!
