Hello, Sorry it's been so long since I have chatted, hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. Was recovering from my little accident at the last race over Christmas. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in helping me out at Knockhill when I had my little 'off'. The Doctor's, Marshalls, paramedics and hospital staff. Thanks guys. Also to the great number of SMRC officials, scrutineers, marshalls and members who phoned to find out how I was, thanks everyone. It's without these guys that we wouldn't be able to go out there and race. Well hope to chat to everyone more often.

Good to hear you're okay - information after the race and beyond was impossible to get hold of... pretty worrying stuff. What actually happened, if you don't mind me being nosy? All we knew was that there had been an accident involving the metro at Duffus and it was sufficiently serious to warrant all the medical staff and a red flag... And how is the wee metro?

Hi there, Left the braking a bit late for duffus, back wheels locked up and pulled me into the gravel sideways. When I stopped I banged my head and strained my neck. The marshalls decided to lift me out the car still in the bucket seat, so not to damage my neck further. Went to hospital they did xrays etc.. turned out I damaged some of my neck tissue. Needless to say was very sore the next day! Metro was fine, just full of gravel!

Hi Claire - good to hear that you are OK. Are you back out in the Metro in 2003 (once you've got all the gravel out of it!)?
