26 entries so far... You in with the pack? Why do you need a driver and vehicle pass? Surely everyone will recognise you in your race suit and let your pilot worry about where he parks the helicopter ;D Yup, in the pack for this one - wouldn't want to not cause the sort of consternation and fun I managed in the final in August... the first couple of laps were the most crazy and frenetic thing I've ever done! Still not had anything more from the BARC - not too bothered but I wouldn't have minded getting the supposedly promised free entry and car pass so I didn't have to park over the hills and far away on Saturday and Sunday... Given that we were supposedly being charged a 450 quid entry fee each for this event before Pat Hynds and his business kindly stepped in to sponsor the races and cover some of the costs for us, I would have thought sending us the passes we were due wouldn't have been too hard. Then again, I was told to expect the BARC would be pretty indifferent towards us... I'll be damned if it's going to stop me enjoying the weekend, bureaucracy or not!

Mike, if you need a car pass for the weekend, I might be able to give you my Media (Car Park C) one, since I'll be going up with the family anyway, so we'll be up at the hairpin - will you be up tomorrow?

I'll be there all three days (well the last couple of hours on Friday for Legends testing) so I'll be around. Hopefully I can sort something out at the track tomorrow if I don't get anything in the post in the morning, but I'll happily steal your pass if I don't get any joy, cheers Michael.

Thanks Dick. Seems there are no parking passes for anyone involved in the Legends and we've been told to show up on Saturday and Sunday and explain to the parking attendants that we're drivers. Excuse me if I'm not 100% convinced of that course of action, but if they make a fuss I'll just tell them to get in touch with the BARC about it and just drive on by into the carpark.

Say hello Blair if you see me, I don't think we've ever met!! No-one's ever met Blair - he's a mysterious entity in an MG jacket.

I have seen Armaggedon and it happened right in front of me at Duffus! Cars everywhere, wheels in mid-air, chunks of metal bouncing off my window netting.... no idea how I did it but managed to avoid the carnage. Really feel sorry for Jason Ogg - he was the innocent victim of a unnecessary move on the grass that went badly wrong and he now has a car needing a lot of repair. Steve Reynolds, Stevie Coull, Dave Thorburn, Jamie Willis and Colin Atkinson all also picked up bumps. When we restarted the race went well - had a great fight at the back but also bettered my previous fastest lap by almost a full second! I also almost rammed the back of Ben Edwards at the bottom of Duffus when he broke down which is a story to tell. Looking forward to tomorrow - time will tell if we'll have a full grid or not!
