Here are the dates etc of the SMRC meetings for next season as given to me by ICR as confirmed
April 11 - all classes at Knockhill
April 25 - all classes at Knockhill
May 15 - Caterhams & Mins at Fintray
June 5&6 - Caterhams and Minis at Doune
June 19&20 - Caterhams and Minis at Doune
June 27 - all classes at Knockhill
July 11 - all classes at Knockhill (Mini race meant to be a 2 driver race)
August 7&8 - Minis at Silverstone
August 14&15 - all classes at Knockhill (joint meeting with BARC)
September 11 - Caterhams and Minis at Oulton Park
September 12 - all classes (including the Caterhams and Minis who have raced the day before at Oulton) at Knockhill
October 17 - all classes (excpet Minis) at Knockhill
No double headers confirmed for XR2's yet (don't know about any other class) but some could be fitted in to the schedule.
Not as bad as first thought....
Cheers

Seven proper meetings then - not bad, especially if the classes get a double header thrown in somewhere. That's an odd fixture - Oulton Park one day and Knockhill the next... is that actually possible?

Wat no Legends away dates! Told we should hear this weekend what our away dates will be. Last date for SMRC race in October will be Non Championship for Legends so may well be a small grid. After this years... sorry last years sucess by Scottish Legends Drivers there may be more heading to America, although if they all need visa's and havn't started applying now, they may not get! The controlling body 600 Racing should seriously consider moving the World Championship event to Europe or even the Uk or even Scotland.. Need I say more Ali

I hear there's doubt over 12th September it could well be the 5th instead. Somehow or other the Minis don't see the funny side of racing at Oulton on the Saturday and Knockhill sign in at 8am on the Sunday for their next points race. Don't we all just feel for them!!!! Ali

Just seen provisional dates for Corgi Legends.
Putting 2 and 2 together probably making 5 but it looks like Away days will be just like last year. One week between Anglesey and Knockhill in July and if Knockhill on the 5th September then 1 week between it and Croft on the 12th. That is if Scottish Legends Championship included on these dates.
Over all Corgi dates look good apart from an 8 week lay off from May to July. Ali

All - ignore most of the above as the "provisional" dates have been changed again - see the "Stop Press" thread for the latest news.... Nick www.ns-r.co.uk
