Scottish Minis at 2012 BTCC

The Scottish Minis certainly put on some great entertainment for the crowd at this year's Knockhill BTCC meeting!

I take it that the George Orr (I think he's mainly running in the STs now, but was out in the Minis) is the same one that ran in the XR2s a bit around 10 years ago? He once punted me off into the gravel (no hard feelings George!) but I always remember he could turn up and just be quick from the off!

I really enjoyed watching that, better than the touring cars I think! Hope the BTCC continue inviting the Minis (and Classics, I missed their race through bad timing, but sure I'll find it on youtube or something soon) to races that Renault can't be bothered with; great to see them get onto a bigger stage, and going on the crowd shot at the end I think they were appreciated by everyone.

Its the very same George Orr as you remember from XR2's and he is mostly doing ST racing now.

I've uploaded the Classics too. They seemed to be getting driving ideas from the Touring Car drivers with a bit more...ahem...robust driving than normal?
