I hoping you may be able to help me, partly in an attempt to recover a stolen trailer but also to try and protect any of your club members from buying a stolen trailer.
I don't know if you have the type space in next club magazine / space on your web site.... my cadet unit had their Brian James Sprint Shuttle stolen and was hoping that you could may place a "Have you seen" type paragraph in the next edition ... as it's a motorsport type trailer one of your readers may be offered it at a "good rate".
My Air Cadet Squadron has been heavily involved in the building of a flight simulator.
In order to transport the flight simulator around events we purchased a fully enclosed car transported which was stored at the cadet hall.
Unfortunately the trailer, valued at £6 320, was stolen sometime between 21:30 on Wednesday night (4th Aug) and 18:00 Thursday night (5th Aug) from the Dyce area of Aberdeen.
If, during you travels over the next few days you happen to see a trailer similar to the one in the picture, parked suspiciously or you are offered a cheap trailer could you please contact Grampian Police on 0845 600 5 700.
The theft of the trailer was well planned and not an opportunity theft, so chances are it’s well out of the Aberdeen area, so as ACC is an international forum it may be travelling through your area .......
Make: Brain James Trailers, double axial, white fully enclosed car transporter type trailer.
Serial number SJBTSSGBP9D108452
