I am pleased to hear Euan is well. Looked pretty nasty and the scariest thing is that his lid came off. Stuart please pass on my regards, I was a tad busy to stop by after the race.
Regarding pictures and media coverage, I'm afraid the reality is we participate in a spectator sport in which most competitors crave publicity and media coverage. Unfortunately you can't have it both ways, if you ask the media along, they'll report on the good and the bad. Some may say that the media should respect peoples privacy when they request it, but that's a whole other debate for a different forum.
Regardless, it's totally galling when something happens to you and it costs a fortune, speaking from experience and all. One way or another, I hope Euan gets back out next season.
