I'm thinking about changing my video - I'm using a heavy, fiddly, tape camera and I see people with snazzy little bullet cameras strapped all over the cars.
What do people think of these cameras, and where do you get them?

Amazon sell "action" cameras if that's what you mean.

I tried one of those ATC 'action' cameras and the quality was appalling. Some folk say they're great, but it was dark, grainy and very jerky.
Got shot of that and bought a Samsung Digital thing which takes SD Cards and has a rather long battery life. It's not small, as it's still a camcorder in the traditional sense, but the picture quality is good and the battery lasts for about 3 hours. And it's wide screen. Cost was about £100, you can get HD versions for about double that.
If you want to go for the bullet cam things, you can pick up kits from various places including DT. They're expensive though.

I saw the bullet cam things on DT, and I think that's what most of the Legends are using.
I was looking at a Canon camcorder - SD cards, hours of recording, and weighs 1/2 lb. My current camera is 3 times the weight, and I have to be careful about when I start recording or run the risk of losing power or running out of tape if there's any delays in the race!
