For most of us the new season starts on the 26th April. The minis have obviously had an early start and for most of them the markers have been set down. But what about the rest of us? What are your hopes for the forthcoming season? For me? I'd like to get a sub 65 second lap. I'm realistic enough to know I wont ever challenge for race wins; but a 64 something lap would make me extremely happy. Oh, and no major accidents or engine failures please!!!

Just to have some fun and not crash this time. Coming out to play in the new amateur "Gentleman's grid" in the Legends which is running behind the pros and ahead of the rookies so with any luck I wont find myself swamped by the aces this year!

Glad to see you using "inverted commas", don't want the "gentlemen" from Trading Standards shutting down the site because you falsely claim to be a gentleman!
I've even heard you say jobbie!

Guess this would be the best place to intro myself lol Name's Martin and I'll be racing in the XR2's (was supposed to be legends but stuff happend) so count yourself lucky if your racing in another series Guess my goal for the season woudl be like any newcomer to racing like me, finish and more straight panels the better and not make a mokery of myself in the process would be an added bonus

More likely in the gravel trap.....!! Good luck, Martin. Hope you won't be one of our "customers"!! Mike, how do the Legends determine who is a so-called gentleman driver?? Is it pace or politeness? Where would Carol fit in had she been racing these? David

Mike, how do the Legends determine who is a so-called gentleman driver?? Is it pace or politeness? Where would Carol fit in had she been racing these? It's a personal choice - if you want to be in (I'll expand the name to cover the female angle too) the gentlemen/ladies grid then you just say so. Think some fast guys will be joining me to avoid the chaotic scrums at the front!

Keep an eye out for those STs starting behind you.
