If it's like last year practice is on the Friday. 2 hours if i remember correctly. Limited places though so best to book up through the Croft website in advance. Format is then qualifying and Race 1 Saturday, Race 2 Sunday.

I mailed Croft a while back to ask about testing given the recent court decisions, sadly I have received no reply as yet.
However, last year the test session was 90mins open pit lane and as most people didn't book many missed out. Personally I prefer several shorter sessions as it allows you some time to change the setup without wasting track time. Apparently if they knew so many people were interested last year they'd have changed it to sessions to accomodate everyone. I suggest contacting the circuit to book.

I tried the email route last year - don't think they know how to work it. ;D I phoned them in the end - they were very helpful though that way.

Ferry to Ireland was booked last night for Croft weekend. So any plans I had of racing ST again or Clio there are gone.

mur150 - I wouldn't bank on them being there although others will know better than me. Can you let me know if you're all booking into one hotel too??? We've stayed at the Sundial in Northallerton before which is near to the circuit and town centre. Charlie - what are the ICR boys planning on doing??? I'm hoping to make it along to this meeting to catch up with you all since you're all coming down to my Yorkshire... N. www.nicksandersonracing.comPS Don't forget your passports!

Nick, all the ICR guys are staying at the Golden Lion in Northallerton. Don't think they had many rooms left but number is 01609777411.

Just incase anyone is unsure whether to take their XR2 down to Croft, I would strongly recommend that you go for it. The one time I went was easily the best weekend I had in my 3 or 4 years in the Fiestas. Was a joy to drive on a different track and I really enjoyed it (piling through Barcroft (?) flat, preying that you can loose enough speed in a straight line to make it round Sunny In!). And it is on the away weekends that the cameraderie of the XR2s really comes to the fore, both in the paddock (no popping home on the Saturday evening for that part left in the garage!) and in the bar on the Saturday night.
Having said that, the nightclub I got dragged to (Northallerton?) was sh*t!

You mean Amadeus Norm ? I thought it was fun last year. ;D
Apart from that I agree with you 100%. Croft is a great track to take the XR2 to, bit gutted I can't this year.
