Alright. I'm getting very sick of the constant bitching on this forum after most races, and it's time we changed things.
First things first: there is no problem with straightforward discussions of driving standards if they are done so openly, making it clear who is being accused (and who is doing the accusing) and citing valid examples of poor moves etc. That is fine; after all if we can't talk about incidents there's not a lot of point this forum existing!
What is not fine is the general bitchiness I'm seeing too much of: people complaining about driving standards but refusing to name names or give examples. People complaining about a particular driver but giving no examples (the witchhunt against a certain sportscar driver comes to mind; if his driving is really so bad say why!)
People hiding behind anonymous identities or second accounts to make accusations - if you're sure enough of your opinion to make harsh accusations, stand up and do it as yourself, not an anonymous name. Especially if you claim to be a person involved in the racing side of things (whilst Mike and I know the identities of members, other posters do not)
I've always wanted to keep this board as lightly moderated as possible; over the past few years I can count the number of deleted/edited posts on the fingers of one hand. But this current climate of bitch bitch bitch after every race has got to stop - we've managed great discussions about racing in the past, so if people could please attempt to shut up about their pet hates or at least provide some examples to back up their complaints it would be much nicer for us all.
