Wey-Hey - even got a mention in the motoring news: - "Andrew Martin threw away his first pole position when he spun at the first corner of the race. He resumed in fifth position, but then he fell off for good just two corners later. Several cars were forced to take to the grass at Duffus Dip. Avoiding the carnage, Nick Sanderson charged into the lead with Ian Forrest benefitting on his tail. Forrest pushed hard and slipped past at Butchers on lap five as Sanderson went wide" Firstly, strange how the report stops there and secondly, I think the reporter must have got the Burnbrae cars mixed up. Dave & Colin went off at Duffus but Andy stayed in the lead until McIntyres where he spun off right in front of me. I presume the writer mixed up the cars as they do look very similar in the Burnbrae colours... Whatever, at least I got a mention - I wonder what Autosport will say tomorrow... Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

Alan - I noticed that picture after I posted my quote.
You've really out-done me on that one - shame it's a photo of you getting punted though...

Hey Nick, looks like both you and Alan got a mention in Autosport today... " Nick Sanderson starred early on but dropped back and on lap 13 was nudged into a spin by British ski team racer Findlay Mickel" Not bad mate... ;D And it also says..... "Formula Ford threw up an unexpected result when Alan Kirkaldy was nudged into a controversial spin......" "......Kirkaldy's comeback to 5th was spectacular" What can I say...we are in the presence of greatness.......we are not worthy...lol Jaffa6
