'At what speed would you anticipate driving down this road?' or 'Have you ever left the traffic lights while they have been on red?'.
What a complete waste of space. Yet another nonsensical idea brought to you by the much loved health and safety department...

It really depends how one drives! I drive 5 cars ahead of me, I always give myself alot of space as an exit route if there is a stopped car I am always aware of things around me.
I probably drive as much as sales reps per year 30000 miles odd, I don't drive on the bumper of the car in front.
Aside from this, god damn Cranfield people! I went there! For a while!

Whether this would be the correct way to go about things, I definitely think there should be more to the driving test.
The part where you are asked about how to check oil was a good change. Far too many people get into cars without having a clue how to keep them maintained correctly.

I think that there should be more continous assessment for ordinary drivers, atm you pass your test and that is it. Overall the standard of driving leaves a lot to be desired
Dont think that testing of that vein would prove much as your own mood and feelings do have an impact on your driving, plus if you are against the clock to be somewhere you will drive harder and take risks. I know I am usually mr laid back on the road buy yesterday I was against the clock so I did use the right foot more than usual

Raise the lower age, test people each year beyond 70 and retest BMW drivers every 2 months.

Aside from this, god damn Cranfield people! I went there! For a while! So did I!!! They do some great work at Cranfield (including crash testing F1 car parts, which may have helped Kubica yesterday in Montréal) but this is a bit much... I've thought for a long time that you should have to retake your test every, say, ten years. I've been driving that long and have picked up some bad habits (drive a leeetle bit fast sometimes, don't look in mirrors quite as much as I probably should, shout at other drivers!) but there are others who are much worse. Am I correct in thinking that they've started making cars without indicators?? Or is it just that people have forgotten how to use them
