Great comments about Round 1.  Looking forward now to the 27th, and the next instalment. Spoke to a couple of XR2 drivers at the weekend who were not out but will be this time. Would expect the qualification race to feature again. XR2's Top of the bill again no doubt. Minis were good but someone turned down the sound. Hope the crowds come back. Who is coming out to play on the 27th? |

I'll be there on the 27th, complete with new plug leads to (hopefully) solve the misfire. Hope also to see Neil's new-improved gear linkage, Ian's new rollcage weld, Derek's new rockers, and Nick's nicely t-cutted drivers door?!
Hopeful that the lack of the year book was a contributor to the relatively low entries last weekend, and that the next meeting will indeed see larger fields (and an XR2 qualification race).

P.S. is there any more info on Ally McKeever's lack of ABS. If it was switched off in the first race, was it off in the second too? Is this being considered a serious offence i.e. further punishment other than being excluded?

Yep, I'll be there on the 27th. Just got to tidy the side of the car up and get all the gravel out of the engine bay.
John F. will probably be interested to know that I will be testing on the Saturday prior to the next meeting as well. I've got some new modifications to try out on the car before Round 2...

I must be the only one that dosen't want a qualification race. It means the possibility of two races in the one day, and I cant even finish one!
Will be there to give it a go anyway!
