Hi Mike / Catriona,
Not sure if this is best placed in this section or in the website feedback but thought I would place it here as its more likely to generate interest....
I've been reading the pistonheads forum and there's a couple of guys there who are running websites which take reports from series and / or allow their website to "promote" specific series / championships. ie post anything of interest on a specific championship etc.
I wonder if you would want to do the same here ? If you could get say the drivers rep of each series to give you a report on their race and perhaps give them a tab on the main site and their own section of the forum it might work well ?
Haven't thought it through but thought I would post it as an idea for you to think about. Obviously don't know how much work that involves for you but it might take the site to a different level if you got a lot of the different classes on board ? I'm sure the regular posters on here would help generate interest if yo ulike the idea.
Thoughts from others ?

That's a pretty good idea, problem is we're a bit uncertain of the future of the site currently. Right now we're in the situation where Mike is moving to the USA in the autumn and I'm 99% going to England over the summer, meaning neither of us will even be able to get to Knockhill easily.
We've been scaling back the site of late anyway (lack of time issues!) and might well just cut it back to being just a forum in the future. The forum is still pretty active and has been the main focal point over the years, but I'm not sure there's as much need for an actual website as there was when we started it; nowadays the SMRC site is very informative and updated frequently, so pretty much fills the gap that we were trying to fill when we started this, as regards information and the like.
There's still plenty of space for a discussion forum however (since not all of us are SMRC members, their forum can't reach as many people as this one), so no matter what we do with the website itself, the forum will continue for sure. We're still looking over options anyway, if anyone has any feedback it's all welcome! Perhaps we could improve the forum and have more depth to it, including more of people's reports, news etc,.

Think its worked well over the past few years with normally just one thread called x-date Race meeting and everyone posts their comments, views, experiences in there.
