...because the mighty Quo are going to be rocking the hill! Saturday the 23rd has been pencilled in as the date - and likely to feature more banging of heads than the XR2's. Apologies to all the race meets, but this has to be the priority now ----------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer : the playing of air guitar along with Status Quo is liable to induce RSI (because it's the same three chords) - speedyV accepts no responsibilty for any damage of limbs, fingers or dignity when the wife walks in on you during this activity.

I was initially going to have a round of expletives with KF, but after realising the speed of the updates there, he might have a point On the other hand, they've done the pubs up here in the past, I wouldn't put it past them.....

Its true, BUT its 23rd AUGUST that Knockhill becomes Rockhill. I guess it was too dry at 'T in the Park ' Expect to see Nazareth and some other top bands there as well. My mate's doing the sound so I'm just waiting to get the full lineup

Whats wrong with the secc? Dave. It's in Glasgow Seriously, Knockhill is actually very well located for an event like this... it's pretty central for Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, and even people from Aberdeen way won't have to travel as far as they would for something in Edinburgh/Glasgow. For me and KF, it's a half hour drive down the road - way better than having to go all the way to Glasgow or wherever (and seeing as KF isn't a great Quo fan anyway, we probably just wouldn't get there if it wasn't at Knockhill ) Still can't help thinking it's a bizarre concept, but I guess there's been rock concerts at football stadiums before, so a racing circuit is an interesting variation on that one - it'll be good publicity for Knockhill, too, if it really happens

Donington Monsters of Rock has been successful for years. My question is why would you want to go to a Status Quo concert, wherever the venue was? Well unless you are allowed to take a gun with you... : Nick PS Rock on Charlie!
