;D I like the website hope you keep it going all it needs now is people to find it and use it . i will be happy to add my penny's worth into the site ie send you two some photo's and current up dates of the pre-season hassles from Pocket Rocket Racing for next year. ( long cold winters nights out in my garage with the "wife "shouting me around about 2 am in the morning is the norm) will need to find out how to do it first. thats adding some thing to the new website OK
Thanks for the offer of pre-season news - we hadn't originally thought of doing that, as we didn't expect to get a lot, but any news anyone wants to give us will find it's way into the site for sure It'll be good to be able to get it started with news and information before the new season starts, so thanks for giving us that idea!
For letting people know about it, obviously we'll be publicising it on the other board, and once we come up with a suitable name for the site, I'll be registering a domain name, and then the publicity can start in earnest Dave Colville's got a link to my homepage on the Burnbrae site, so I'll e-mail him and tell him about this site, and I'm also thinking of being a bit cheeky and e-mailing Kevin Pick, in the hope that he'll mention it in Wheelspin Obviously that'll wait till there's a bit more content, but hopefully we'll be able to let a decent number of people know it exists, anyway
lol, good point about the photo - think next season if I manage to get to a meeting in time for qualifying, you guys are going to have to all run round the track together for a few laps so I can get a shot of the lot of you at once!
Thanks for the articles offer - looks like we'll have to be creating that news section soon, then!
I've also had an idea of creating driver profiles, with information about the drivers, like name, where they live, career highlights, interests, website, and anything much else I think of, plus pictures of their cars, and maybe of them too, if enough people can provide photos (or put up with having my camera pointed at them in the paddock now and again ) - what does everyone think of that? If you like the idea, then I'll work out what to put in it soon (suggestions are more than welcome!), and hopefully get a few sample profiles up on the site soon from anyone here who wants to be involved
That's cos none of the photos I've got scanned just now would make good wallpapers... however, I've got a *lot* of films to scan over the winter, and seeing as I've concentrated on the XR2s all year, you'll be spoilt for choice soon (when I get the films processed and scanned.... could take a while on current form )
