The famous Scottish Ecurie Ecosse name will return to motor racing this season in class A of the Caterham Roadsport Challenge.
The team's two cars will be driven by Scottish Caterham frontrunner Andrew Smith, 23, and 20-year-old Alasdair McCaig, son of Ecurie Ecosse patron Hugh McCaig.
The cars will run in the traditional Ecurie Ecosse blue, and McCaig Sr hopes that the Roadsports Challenge will add to the team's illustrious history, which includes Le Mans, World C2 Sportscar and British Touring Car Championship victories.
Think whoever wrote that didn't notice who was running Alasdair McCaig last season, but still great to see them get a mention Good luck to them - hope they can do the Scottish series proud
Just a shame the Roadsport Challenge won't be visiting Knockhill, but from the looks of the calendar, none of the dates clash, so maybe we'll still see them at some SMRC meetings - anyone got any info on that one?
