I have Decided to put my Fiesta up for sale.
The car is current 2006 spec Full rebuild carried out by myself and my team during the 2005/6 winter. Powerflex Polybushes Scholar engine (New 2006) Full weld in rollcage (designed and manufactured by ourselves- all welding was done by Willy Davison) All suspension components are painted and lacqured (Gold) Front shocks New Aug 2005 (platform adjustable Leda Units) Rear Shocks have shortened rods (rebuilt by leda late 2005 season) Outside was resprayed white with blue plastic trim during winter Inside was stripped back to bare metal by hand (took over 100 hours) and painted silver during the winter. New windscreen with no cracks Seat has new lowered supports Car was rewired with the minimum wiring required Car is on the money weight wise (for someone of approx my weight!) New clutch beginning 2005
This car has been built and maintained regardless of cost, and more importantly regardless of time.
It would be hard to emphasis just how much time and effort has been spent on this car, both during the rebuilt and on maintainence.
I am offering the car for £3500. The price includes spares and a brand new set of tyres, never used along with 4 sets of wheels and used tyres.
Setup info and technical assistance could be arranged
Contact me on 07921 725983 or mjb1@hw.ac.uk
Thanks, Marc

Just out of interest, who was it sold to ? Will they be racing it this year ? Have you given up the XR2s or swapped cars or series ?

Sold it to Dave Colville- used to race a few seasons ago. He reckons he will be out at the last meeting.
I sold the car because i recently graduated and i'm starting work soon- so i wont have the time to commit to racing.
I have also lined up a drive in the ginettas down south for a few meetings next season.

As Marc said, I have indeed bought his car.
I want to make a few changes to it and try to set it up the way I like an XR2 to handle, so will probably enter the Oct 8th meeting and use this as a shake down run only. I have no intention of interfering in the championship battle!!
Incidentally, it was a pleasure doing business with Marc. Genuinely nice guy and very straightforward to deal with. Two phone calls and we had a deal sorted. Thanks again Marc!!
