Plenty of time then to get yourself an in-car video camera and a new website to post them on ;D

talking about website updates - what about Andrew's ?
Calendar looks good some great tracks in there (pity about Lydden) and a good spread of dates. Will try for Knockhill again in 2009

Now, as it stands there is only one clash with SMRC dates, so when are we going to see the ST's at Knockhill next year ? ;D

You may do Blair, but not if we have to start at the back of an XR2 grid with a time penalty...

talking about website updates - what about Andrew's ? I know - I've been nagging him as well but he's really into this being a student thing and has been working like crazy...

Dick,
"Student" and "working" in a sentence which doesn't have "not" in it - surely some mistake ?!

John - he's decided to become a hedge fund manager ... So he's hedging against failing his degree ! Mike - he doesn't drink.. Incidentally - given all those Legends up for sale - who's back next year and who isn't? Any rumours?

Haven't got a clue, Dick - with four of the six hire cars on the Legends for sale page likely to sell and I'd imagine the other three (there are a couple of new carsincoming, one for hire and one to sell) going to scholars for 2008 (for those who don't know Chris Edwards announced at the last meeting they'd be running it again) it's sort of up in the air for people like me should buyers clear the stock out!

Buy your car Mike, seems a bargain at 8k. Got to work out cheaper than renting in the long term too?

It probably would but that's not a sum of cash I can come up with at any one time with only my bank account to fund me!

I spoke to Kevin Shortis (series co-ordinator) and the dates are now 99% confirmed - only one that's a big dodgy is the Lydden Hill rounds as McLaren are in the process of selling the circuit.
Lydden is a funny one as they are only allowed to use the circuit for 52 days in a calendar year - that includes any testing etc.
When we went there last year, there was no testing - just a 15 minute 'familiarisation session' on the Saturday morning...
