Nick & I visit Brands for rounds 13 & 14 of the Fiesta Championship next weekend. Matters from Rockingham will not have been resolved and as luck would have it the PUTs whose race was also cancelled are also at BH at the same time. Our entry is a little down with only 24 cars showing on the entry list but there may be a few late entries.
This is the track I have been waiting for all season. After we missed Silverstone at the start of the season I have been eyeing our meetings at Brands and I for one am really looking forward to cresting the start / finsih straight and diving down Paddock Hill Bend.
We go back to Brands for the last meeting of the season at the Formula Ford festival in late October so we have a bit of a break after this meeting.
Nick and I will be testing on Friday and have, as usual, one race on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Can't wait !
John

I couldn't believe just how steep Paddock Hill was on my first visit. Infact crossing the track to the pit lane at the BTCC it's amazing how steep it is even on entry.
Good luck boys.

any chance of you two getting your own onboard cameras ? Have seen an onboard of John from Oulton through AMG but it was about 15secs worth. Racing seems to be really good so would be good to have an onboard vid of the whole race

Andrew,
might try and get the on-board camera again this weekend as we have our other sponsors coming to Brands Hatch but what you would see on R&R UK would be very similar I suspect. Neither Nick and I have a camera to put on board but I know AMG do sell the complete incar footage of a race from their website. If you bought the Oulton one of me, you shold see me giving one of my fellow drivers a "cheery wave" at one point during the first part of the race.

Torrid weekend for the team
Nick had a major impact during qualifying, John had a mechanical breakdown near the end of race 1. Both required a magnificent effort by the team (and another competitor) to get us back out racing.
Results Race 1 Nick 11th John DNF
Race 2 Nick 5th John 15th
Fuller report to follow
