Hmmm. I would think with that much horsepower, weight etc then manual steering would be knackering..
So I guess some sort of cooler has to be the answer perhaps with a bigger reservoir..... Be interested to know what you come up with...
What does Dan Rose do or is he a former wrestler and doesn't bother ?

We all suffered the same problems but mine seemed to be worse - Dan has re-routed some of the power steering pipes which seems to help but not fully resolve the problem. We are looking at either replacing with manual steering or routing via the air con / or adding cooler...

Re: Power-steering - we're awaiting a decision form the Ford eligibility scrutineer...there's a few options to consider. Blair - yes, that's John on the right. In the middle are the ICR mechanics who looked after us. Bruce and Chris take a bow....you deserve it guys! (Iain Cowie had to stay at Knockhill for the SMRC meeting) Nick. |

You see that huge truck in the photo....!  Chris drove the truck down - unfortunately, there is no way of getting both cars in the truck so we had one on a trailer behind...shame.  N. |

Guys,
Just a short note to say thanks for all your messages of support & sorry for not posting this sooner (been on holiday & then had laptop stolen). Particular thanks to all the guys who were involved in getting the cars ready and to Bruce & Chris for providing the support over the weekend. Anglesey is a great track in the layout we did it and if you get a chance to go round it you should make sure you don’t miss it. My gearbox problem should be sorted by a new linkage and that along with a new racing exhaust should mean its all systems go for Oulton Park at the end of the month.
Another chance to see the races on Motors TV at 5.30 today apparently.
