Does anyone have any idea what exactly the latest on SCSA is. Just seems to be up and down all the time. They keep taking away prizes from the winners. For example Vergers was surposed to win a race in the Hooters Pro Cup in the USA, now thats been withdrawn.
Is SCSA gonna be around next year?

It hasn't really caught the imagination though - only running at one track has been one problem, plus the racing really isn't all that exciting when compared against the likes of NASCAR. Wealthy amateurs making up the majority of the field can't be helping it's professional image either.
Also of course the fact it changed it's name every year too! It's probably going to end up as the victim of it's own mis-management.

Yeah the name-changing didn't help, I had to stop and think what the heck SCSA even was! I'm assuming it's the entity once known as ASCAR, which really they should have kept as the name to make it recognisable to the casual fan...

Yeah, I watched it the other night, wasn't too impressed although I have to admit to not being an oval fan at all. Granted there's probably more passes in oval racing than any other form of car racing, but a greater number of passes does not mean good racing. I think this is one genre of motorsport that probably won't ever catch on here, or anywhere else outside of the US for that matter.
