Thanks for that - it's always great to hear how you're doing "down South"

Saw your name in last week's Autosport, Dave - the MG Trophy gets a full page "advertisement" feature most weeks it seems.

Good report Dave - shame about your mishap in the first race. Looks like you have both got used to the MG's now - we're expecting big things next season... Couldn't come along to Silverstone as we were at Croft with the BTCC but we'll make it to one of your other races. Cheers, Nick www.ns-r.co.uk

Thanks Nick! I still can't qualify for toffee, but at least the race pace is getting there, even though Silverstone is my least favourite circuit so far .... I don't think either Colin or I have embarassed ourselves so far, but it is still a learning year after all!! We have definitely sorted out our basic setup now, so once we learn a few more tracks, I'm sure that we can be truly competitive next year. Now all we need is a major sponsor to help fund a whole season, 'cos its been bl**dy expensive so far Cheers .. DC

What're the chances of a Knockhill round next year? Wouldn't mind seeing them back again.

Knockhill next year would be great, but the feedback from those within the MG Car Club is that as well as being a very long haul for them , they were promised a great deal that wasn't actually delivered. I won't point the finger at any person or organisation, but I'm sure that most of you can guess who failed to deliver on their promises ....
However, Colin and I are both actively campaining to try and have this happen as it would be great for us to do our local circuit. As well as providing us with a little local advantage it would mean one round without us having to make a long trip to attend.
Cheers .. DC

Errm - I actually went hard right rather than straight on, but slicks are a bit of a challenge when they're cold and you've just gone through a stream of water at the chicane. Can't deny that it was still a novice mistake though
