Knockhill dates/season tickets

Nice to see Knockhill listen to the fans - the season ticket prices have actually been reduced to £75 single and £145 double for next season! :up: The provisional calendar's up on their website now, too - here's the best of the car racing days:

Looking pretty good, actually.... this is 12 definite car racing events, the Superbikes, which I know a lot of people go to, even if they're not generally into bikes, plus two TBAs, one of which nicely matches a TBA on the ASCAR calendar, so fingers crossed on that one! I'm thinking the season ticket will be worth the money after all now, especially with it being reduced in price

I'm actually suprised to see BSB on there...I thought it had decided it wasn't going back to Knockhill again??

Indeed, it is tempting to me now, GT's and BSB are at least £40 on the gate, take into the fact that you've got the RallyCross as well as priority parking, it does now seem worth it, as opposed to the +£16 rumour!!!

look's good GR , may well have to purchase another ticket myself this year once again.
as for the Brittish Stock Car saloons, they are your everyday car with very large bumpers. (mainly rear wheel drive four door ford's ? now) not the single seater F2 type with large wings on the roof.

i think you have missed a few SMRC dates in June (1st june is one don't know the other yet)

No mention of any others either... a couple of those early provisional dates appear to have been scrapped/mislaid/fill in your own answer

Come to think of it, the SMRC events are somewhat conspicuous by their abscence - 4 standalone dates, the Croft one assuming it happens and the September 14th date which is listed as "Motor Racing featuring MG" which is not the most detailed of descriptions.

This means the SMRC dates mentioned on Nicks provisional list for June 1st and July 13th have gone. (The 13th especially as it's been replaced by a hot hatch and bike track day...) Also AWOL is the August 24th BRSCC date...

Plus there is a mystery "TBA" for Saturday 19th of July...

Some mysteries that require solving... :confused:

Yeh, still a bit confusing, think i`m right in saying us F.Ford people have our first round in march.(Croft).

This is getting more confusing by the minute - are your lot guesting with the Northern FFords, or is all the SMRC travelling? Hope someone manages to put a definitive calendar together soon, anyway... got holidays to book and saving to be done, and knowing how many times we're going to Croft and elsewhere would be a good start!

It will be a northern F.Ford round, but i thought the other SMRC class`s were going as well, can anyone keep me right on this one ?

Eek - hadn't heard anything about that on Nick's list of provisional dates! Don't really like the idea of the season opener being anywhere other than Knockhill, tbh, and March is way too short notice for me and KF to get there, I think

Woops i got it wrong again ! the F.Fords are doing the northern round in march but its not Croft but Donnington ! Word on the street is there is a final listing out for knockhill with gaps filled in, anyone able to confirm ?

Donington? Sounds good - sadly there isn't a hope in hell of me and KF making that one, but good luck to all our Scottish teams and drivers there - you show the English people how to do it! :cheese:

Season ticket's definitely on now, btw - KF's parents gave us a nice cheque towards it for Christmas, so that's sorted :santagrin:
