Yeh Mr Bentley wasn't exactly up there at the sharp end. It could be many factors though I guess. Sorry Nick was away early on Saturday so didn't see your message, were you absolutely frozen like me on the banks ? It was relatively warm when it stopped blowing. Mike, you don't get the fun of flying on a plane to Knockhill !! Meaning to be there on Sunday so shaddap!

That's handy, I can stay on and watch something interesting whilst the crowds sit in a traffic jam.

guys watch out for Jonathan Adam from Kirkaldy in the seat cupra championship, 4 rounds in 2 wins a 2nd and a 3rd. leading the series by 19 points so far. He is one guy that should be in the BTCC, the prize is 100k so lets give him a good roar

Didn't see them as I haven't subscribed to Setanta. I think he was one of the guys hoping to move up the BTCC a year or so ago but didn't have the money. IIRC he tested Yvan Muller's Astra Coupe around Donington and lapped quicker than the man himself...

Yes Jonathan did test Yvan's astra in 2004 and he was very fast, won the clio cup in 2005 and promptly set the fastest lap at Mangy Cours in the megane (that was part of the prize) still holds that record, 2006 3rd SCC. 2007 hopefully wins the scc.
Nick I dont have setanta either but good to know he put a good shift in, best of it was 2007 was very very last minute he was struggling in february to raise clio budget so good he is out there. plus he is a helluva nice guy as well

Seems there's been a repreive for Knockhill and Sul-tan-ahhh will show the day from Knockhill live after all! They currently have it listed as a live broadcast all day on Setanta Sports 2. Not sure of the timing as the latest timetable for the meeting has the first race at 9.00 and the last at 16.00 (legends) but the Setanta timing is from 9.30-18.00... hope it evens out so the two legends races get live TV - that would be mental.

Hope the victims of the Brands pile-up are all fixed in time! Practice run for Duffus perhaps??
Wish we were getting the Clios......

There are quite a few non appearances.
From what I know: Motorbase - Tom Ferrier & Matt Allison - no show. A Tech - Dave Pinkney no show, Richard Marsh should be there. Eoin Murray - no show. Rick Kerry - no show.
Matt Neal will probably be there, TD had a half built Civic in their workshop incase this happened.

Think Kerry hadn't been planning on travelling anyway (before getting the car torn up) and Murray's generally always on the redline as far as money's concerned. Shame about Motorbase but you can't exactly blame them - I've never seen a single team suffer so many torn up cars in a single season!
