I was up at the Hill today For Marshals Training.Lots of topics came up with TV coverage being one of them.It seems it will be a 1 hour show with the Mini's getting 30 mins of coverage and the other series sharing the other 30mins.It was said that the overall show length maybe be increased to more than an hour dependant on the quality of racing.

So that's just 30 minutes shared between XR2s, Legends, Classics and FF less advert time... !!

Does seem a bit short (about 3 minutes per series for 2 races and anything extra roughly speaking.) Guess we need to wait and see what it is when it's officially announced.

Yeah it doesnt seem like a whole lot of time for the other series.I think thats why it was said the show may be longer. However with the Minis paying the biggest share of the TV costs im pretty sure they would want more air time if that was the case.
Mike im pretty sure it was said that Formula Phoenix is no more....Ops edit by me ( They need to have at least 10 entries in on time or they wont get to race and at that it would only be one practice and one race session)sorry about that. The Supersports class may be going aswell unless there is sufficient interest to warrant running a practice and race for them.

As I understand it Iain Cowie is also now offering a make-up service to ensure all the drivers look their best for that all important close up shot seconds after slamming into the tyre wall. The only thing I want to know is where I can plug in my hair straighteners

cameras. does anyone know how many cameras the tv company use, as they say the camera adds ten pounds. I would like to lighten the car accordingly. ;D though, if your not on camera then you would be underweight. er, not much chance of me being underweight despite my effort on the diet exercise front. please insert (lack of) between my and effort. ;D oh bugger it I'll just eat the bloody cameras and to hell with the weight...

Just watched mini's so got use to their camera positions for our races. Good to see they used the locals for interviews. I take it Gary didn't use your makeup services Charlie ;D

I thought the coverage was pretty good... Pity they chopped it short at the end and didn't interview the race 2 winners but otherwise not at all bad..

Yep good coverage. It suprised me Jonathan Palmer was commentating too!
Although I believe the rest of the coverage has been put back a weeek from the 27th to the 4th May. (Straight from the commentator Ian Sowman over on 10-Tenths..)

4th May !! Excellent planning... All the XR2 drivers will be in Cadwell in tents so will miss their moment of television glory .....
